.......I don't understand this gigabytes per month business. Say the limit is two gigs per month, does this mean that if someone downloads a total of two gigs in the first week that the site will be down for three weeks until the beginning of the next month - or what?

Your provider will do one of two things, either cut off your service or tack on extra charges. If you are paying over 20 bucks for capped broadband, dump them! Too many providers with no cap on their service for 25 bucks or more!

It is not Band Width but it is data that you are allowed to down or upload in a month, It has got nothing to do with site but this is the restriction by your Internet service provider. If you download in excess than they charge heavily towards excess download per MB. In India it is Rs 1.20, don,t know about else where.

That means that u can download a total of 2GB per month.
If you download more than that your ISP may charge u more or cut your speed down.

its depends the location u r and type of network u chose, according to me , i have download limit of 150 mb/day, i paid the rent upto 3 months, if download exceeds 150mb/day, then after that for every 25mb of extra download it decreases, 1 day in the duration of 3 months,

Like that consult ur vendor for clear details
