Israel have a history of breaking and ignoring almost every resolution against it and nobody has used this as grounds for sanctions or invasion. Yet when Arab countries do the same they are hit with sanctions or invaded. Why?

Israel is the only Jewish state in the whole world. The Arabs have 22 states. The Arabs are not wiling to accept a Jewish state in their midst.

Israel thought that by leaving Gaza entirely in August 2005, that the Arabs would get their act together and develop their economy. Instead, the Arab have seen fit to launch thousands of missiles at Israel's civilian population, intending to kill as many citizens as possible.

Israel, on the other hand, is trying to live in peace. When they do attack, it is with the clear objective of silencing the Arab terrorists. By international law, Israel is totally justified in its quest to protect its citizens. The Arabs are in total violation of international law by unprovoked attacking of innocent civilians in Israel.

The Palestinian Arabs could have had a state already, if they only behaved like civilized human beings. But they have proven time and again that they are not ready to behave, and so the Arabs will have to exist with "only" 22 states.

Because Israel will not recruit children or extremists to kill everyone who doesn't convert to Judaism. They aren't cowards. The only thing I wonder about with Israel, is why they put up with all of the Islam rhetoric. Why they didn't throw Islam out of their country decades ago, and why are they so compassionate with people who are clearly bigots. The only answer I can think of is that they serve the loving, forgiving compassionate God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, and not some war monger false god.

I am glad the Israeli ignores the UN,we all should.The UN is gutless anti-Israel,anti-America organization and mostly sides with thugs and dictators from around the world.The only way the UN's sanctions are ever enforced, is when the USA does it for them,and then the UN is not happy,because we actually did something,instead of sitting around (for years sometimes) and talking about the problem.
