why not put one? do ppl take you less serious by not having one?

I dont know how to put one on and I have tried and Im fairly good with computers....so who knows why it didnt work?

A friend of mine has not avatar and I asked him why. He said simply that none of the avatars looked liked him so he just decided not to have one.
