Free education is not a Constitutional right. There is no where within the Constitution that guarentees all citizens a right to a higher education (infact the Constitution does not guarentee to its citizens any education at any level).

Good Luck!!!

There's never been a Constitutional right to free higher education. There's never even been a Constitutional right to higher education. Even the first public elementary schools were not created in this country until the 1800's, long after the Constitution was ratified. Private schools were all we had. If you came to Indiana, you'd see little abandoned schoolhouses dotting the landscape. One person would donate land for the school to be built on, local parents would help build the school, they would split the cost of a teacher, and provide their own supplies.
