There's only 1 Stanley CUP. This question is ridiculous since there's 4 rounds of playoffs to go and we're still 20 games from those even starting. If you had to bet right now though, I'd pick from Nashville, Detroit, San Jose, Anaheim, New Jersey, Ottawa, Pittsburgh or Carolina. They all have depth at every position and good goaltending and D.

I believe the Sharks are gonna win the Stanley Cup this year! We have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. We have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. We have depth, youth and size. We're in a small losing streak right now, but we'll put it all together and make a run for the division and conference lead real soon. And next year....watch out for Devon Setoguchi!

This is definately an opinion question as no one can actually see into the future...
I think Nashville will likely win the cup over buffalo

sorry to anaheim fans, but i think anaheim has cooled off way to much and is out of the running now...

the darkhorse to look out for is the pens. They seem to be getting hot at the right time. Everyone is saying how they are going to be an amazing team in the future, but be careful, because the future for Pittsburgh may be THIS year.

In short - Nashville or Pittsburgh

If there are no upsets in the playoffs, it may come down to the Buffalo Sabres and Nashville Predators. Both teams have the right mix of youth, skill, goal-keeping, coaching, and veteran leadership. There is, however, always an upset or two in the playoffs. If I had to pick one of those two teams to mess up in the playoffs, it will probably be Nashville.
In the Western Conference, Detroit and Anaheim also have great chances. In the East, New Jersey and Pittsburgh will also be there until the end.

More than likely the Sabres will make the finals and will probably win the cup. Their depth is awesome and even their new players that are coming up from Rochester are great. With their injuries starting early, they should have a better time than last season. Also the team is playing a lot better than they did last year. I will have to go with the Sabres.

I love that someone actually put the Pens. They do have a slight chance considering they managed to beat Buffalo and Nashville this year (with a lose to the Sabres as well, with 2 more games left against them so we shall see how that series ends)

Its kinda hard to pick a winner since their tend to be major upsets in the playoffs. But I would probably go for Anaheim vs. Buffalo with the Sabres coming out on top.

Well, I would like to say Nashville.

However,
I don't think Nashville has enough depth in defense to make it through a lot of the playoff teams out there (i.e. Minnesota, Dallas).
I do believe they can make it to the cup, however. And Buffalo or Ottawa, depending on if Pittsburgh is good enough or not, will fall short.
