You don't need a visa to visit the Philippines. All you need is a ticked showing a return date or travel to another country and a valid passport good for the next 6 months. If you decide to stay longer than 21 days, visa extensions are easy to get at the Bureau of Immigrations offices located in many of the major cities.

Go to the nearest Philippine Mission and apply for a visa. If you plan to stay for 21 days and less, you will be given a visa upon arrival at the port of entry provided you have a passport valid for at least 6 months and a return / onward ticket. However, check with the nearest Philippine Embassy / Consulate if your nationality requires a visa.

Good luck!

The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC has a web site with downloadable forms for that. Its always better if you have the visa before you go. The 21 day stamp you get when you arrive without a visa will have to be renewed if you want to stay longer. All dealings with the Philippines Officials in country will be a hassle for you and will probably involve a bribe or other extortion fee. Even though its not that expensive, it always burns my a.s.s. that I have to pay "extra" just because I can afford it.

If you're in the US,call your travel agency for details, you'll need a passport. The visa is just a stamp that goes on your passport, and you'll get that at the airport. It will be good for 21 days. If you wish to stay longer, contact the Philippines Embassy at least 2 weeks before your visa expires to get an extention.

Most tourists upon arrival are automatically given 21 days Philippine visa and is renewable. Just make sure your passport is valid for the next 6 months and you have an outward/exit ticket to show the immigration officers if asked.
