You better have enough $$$$ and be sure to have medical insurance. . .additionally you also need to be a very good pianist since your competition will be above Australian level.

Well, KIKO S, I think you should go for a holiday, and not come back. Australia is the best country on earth, But you must leave to find this out.
I have been to Switzerland 3 times, but would never live there, too costly, swiss frank and euros are only 60 cent to our A$1.
The Swiss wouldn;t give a pianisty person the smell off a fart!!

You can't just decide to live there. Getting a visa is really hard, and a citizenship is nearly impposible. Switzerland is really strict.
Anyway...Switzerland is beautiful. great for skiing, very safe place, and has overall the nicest people. Depends on which area you go to, but they have 4 languages: German(Swiss Deutsch), French, Italian, and Roman. Zürich and Geneva are the most beautiful cities in the world. they offer the best quality of life. =)

wow. i'm sure there is some excitement in australia! maybe youre saying that because you were born there. i think that if you want to move to switzerland, you better have a good amount of money! living in europe, especially starting new, with different currency and all, is very expensive living. before i take that move, id think more into it. i hope that all goes well and you make the right decision! Good Luck!

I know you cannot just decide to move to Switzerland, the visas are hard to get. Been to Geneva and Lausanne, and it is beautiful. High quality everything, but some Swiss can be very particular about following the rules. And there are a lot of rules......
