I mean here in the UK it is a quite expensive sport, and great fun. It is not that you are all Fred Flintstone!.

Well the bowling atmosphere here, the stereotype of the players in the PBA, it is considered blue collar, working class because its not as popular as other sports, in schools and in official play, the lack of exposure on television, and also because anyone can play for a small price. And many consider here that the sport is very much not a sport at all but just a game, where as in golf and basketball, you are walking and running constantly, in bowling you are standing up,walking, then sitting down again, but those that do not consider it a sport do not understand the complexity and pressure that bowlers have to endure.

its an inexpensive game to play and anyone can walk in and play a game.
