Be honest with her. True friendship is *love unconditionally* You accept that person with their faults as well as there strengths. If this person is a SSS(Super Soul Sucker) and you are not interested in maintaining the friendship with person you should be honest with them and tell them. Don't lead them on, that is mean too.

True friendship is being able to tell each other anything. So the next time she's at your house tell her how you feel. Explain that you're not trying to be mean but this is just how you feel. Avoiding her will only make you feel bad. If she truly is a friend she will see the light and you will become closer.

She's being mean to you because she has low self esteem, as its often the case. She wants to make you feel as bad as she does, probably because she's intimidated by you. All there is to do is to tell her you don't like her attitude, and that if she wants to continue being your friend, she's gotta stop. Say it gently, kindly, she's already insecure enough as it is, but be firm. She has no right to treat you this way, it is no way to express friendship. Say you still want to be her friend, but that the meanness has got to stop. There are slim chances of her cutting off your friendship, but you have to take the risk. People that act that way are destructive and if you don't react now, the friendship will continue to sour and you WILL lose her. Good luck, I hope this helps and that it works out for you.

TRUE friendship is a place where you can tell each other anything. Your friend needs to know that sometimes things she says hurts you, and you need to opened about it to her. If she gets mad, then she was in the wrong and just tell her "Im not trying to be mean, but I just was hurt by this. And I just wanted to tell you so that you knew". Hopefully she will say she is sorry, but listen. Friendship is stronger than that, you might have arguments with your friend, but its life. We all have it!

Avoidance isnt being a good friend. How would you feel if she avoided you without telling you why? it would drive you crazy right? You need to be straightforward with her, and let her know the things she says hurt your feelings. If doing so causes her not to be your friend, then her friendship wasnt worth your time to begin with. Just be honest and open, that's the basis of a good frienship anyway. good luck

Confront her tactfully about what it bothering you, if she doesn't care then she isn't a real friend to begin with.

Tell her how you feel, if she can't understand that then she's not worthy of being your friend.
