I mean why when you say someone is Sunni then he is with "rafic al Hariri" shi'a " Hassan Nasrullah" Christians from mountains "Ja'Ja'" and so on.... Why??? is that where we have come from?? I am from a religion "prefer not to disclose" and not with the "leader" as you may call them, I call them "Home Wreckers”... so you are mistaken there...
What do you think!!!!

Why do we categorise people by their religion?

I categorise people into two categories.:
People with flashy avatars and people with nothing (like myself). So far we have two nice avatars. One of them is really flashy and nice. Let's hope this new trend of flashy avatars flourishes...

Well.....how wont categorize people by religion in Lebanon if in the ID it says which religion each lebanese owns to??? The first that categorize the people is the State.
While the state and religions be together, that will happen ...always.
That is something that will need lot of years to be changed. Even,,,as you well know, in Lebanon people live in the region where the majority of the people from their own religion is.,
Sunnies in north....christians in the middle...druzes in the mountains and shiias in the south... Isn't it that way??..
By the way, i'm not from a religion that prefer not to disclose. I'm christian, but I think that everyone has to do his best to get a stronger Lebanon without prejudges and nonsenses.
All together will get it

Peace for Lebanon

By the way...I forgot.. all that "leaders" are corrupted.. Have to come new and honest ones to change something the situation

You're right, but it's hard not to be with a certain leader here coz Lebanon is a very small country with 18 sub-religions and you can't make them all agree on the same principles.

it's very simple, I am so scared of anything that is remotely different to me!!

you see I have these baskets in my head and I have to place people in them. I am a very tidy person and I have labelled each basket too. so if I don't need a mess in my head I have to divide them according to religion, sex, age, social status, money, nationality... ( even village!! as soon as 2 Lebanese meet here they exchange which village they come from- I've never heard an australian ask another australian where he came from)

Anyway, this way when you're down or feeling insecure it's very easy to decide to blame it on one of the baskets.

It gives those who cannot think for themselves an easy excuse to hate. Also puts the fact that we are all of the human race down lower on the list of identify facts. No matter what we are religiously we all cry, breath and bleed the same.

It makes it easier to identify the nutters.
How much simpler life would be if people were not controlled by their religion.
Funny how atheists don't feature in the tv and newspapers as trouble makers.
May be something worth considering.

We have to classify them somehow...

We could classify them by color. OOPS... those people you mention are all essentially the same color.

We could classify them by height. Hmm... similar height distributions...

What do you want them to be classified by?

One group is having issues with another group. the groups' primary area of disagreement and tthier primary difference that can be defined are the same thing... Religion.

So, "people of Religion A" are having an argument wiht "people of religion B" It describes what is happening.

Its reality.

I think this is why the Lebanese people are suffering and don't have to follow them, they can follow him if he has only doing the best for Lebanon.

***Many people should kill for some politicians.

LIFE - I agree to vote for you. :)
