1. Start,My computer, right click on Local Disk (C:), click on properties shows the disc with used and free space available.
2. Right click on taskbar, then clicking on Task Manager brings up Physical/Kernel memory.
These are different kind of graphs. Are they showing the same thing, that is how much memory (RAM) you have and how much has been used?
My Physical memory is TOTAL -514124..AVAILABLE-100000...SYSTEM CACHE-222496.
Also, what is Kernel memory?

first of all to get your ram you go start> control panel>performance and maintinence> system if on category view, if on classic viewgo control panel> system. when you get there it will have a piccie of a moniter and near the bottom it will say ( for me ) 256 mb of ram. and second

Left side is processor utilization percentage.
Top side is processor utilization history.

Physical memory = Amount of RAM
Available = Amount of available memory in real time.
System Cache = Amount of cache. More programs you have run, more bigger the amount. This is look like indexing, so the programs that you've already run before will be executed more faster the next time you'll run it.

Kernel Memory definition :
The memory used by the operating system, which is protected and cannot be accessed by regular applications. Virtual memory can be used to page some of the kernel in memory to disk. However, there is always a certain part of the kernel that must reside in physical memory at all times and cannot be swapped out.
