Check if your video card is air cooled. If yes try to clean it up or open the tower and try to vitualize where the noise is coming from. Just remove the case while the computer is off then on it again, start any game that might have been causing the high pitch sound

my first concept is that it relatively is ur headphones and the soundcard do no longer mixture ok. try changing the headphones first and notice if that solves the problem. If no longer it ought to possibly be the sound card. considering which you conversing a pair of computing gadget besides the undeniable fact that it would be maximum suitable to take it to a expert and have it looked at (*in the experience that your no longer a working laptop or pc saavy individual). If ur are pc saavy adequate to take it aside confirm each and every of the connections for the sound card are look after, there is not any longer something touching the cardboard that ought to intervene with its overall performance, sparkling off dirt, ect. maximum suitable of high quality fortune.

I think its the fan. Computer fans today have 2 speeds. Normally they run at low speed which is almost silent. When you play a game it requires the processor to work harder. The fan then switches to high speed to keep the processor cool.

Probably either the graphics card fan, or the processor fan. Both are very important. Isolate the culprit and replace it ASAP.
