Shaving it off still wont work.
Thank of it as a quirk not a bad thing.
Sadly you'll have to get used to it.
Most of the population has one they're just in different ways, some at the from of the hairline some at the back.

Dont reccomend shaving it off as it will only grow back again.Have you heard about the new methods of semi permanent hair strightening?its quite popular with celebs and anyone who doesnt want to use straighteners everyday. The process is like a reverse perm, and doesnt have to be done on the whole head, it can be done on a small area ie cowlicks. This treatment is now widely available at good hairdressing salons.Just pop in and explain to them, and theyll be able to advise you.good luck!

A cow lick can be worked with. Try growing it out to tame it. Have a good hair day.

there is only one thing u can do with a cows lick i was told by a hairdresser and that is to just brush your hair the way the hair in the lick goes through persistant brushing this way you retrain your hair to grow in that direction.it will not look as bad....noel

Find a really good barber; one who can deal with cowlicks.
Wear your crown hair longer! If you must have short-ish hair, get a permanent wave.

I have 19 of them. if you have short hair, i would suggest getting a horse hair brush. when drying your hair spray a firm hold hair spray onto the spot and blow dry down with the brush.
if you have long hair, i would get the revo spin brush. it works it right out.
