A hard disk is the storage in your computer.

A floppy disk is a type of removable storage you could use to copy files from your compuetr onto and vice versa. The were inserted into the floppy disk drive of your computer. They have pretty much been completely phased out due to the rise of CDs, DVDs and pen disks, and most new computers don't include floppy disk drives any more.

A pen drive is a small storage media that typically connects to your USB port on your computer. It is rewritable, meaning you can reuse it over and over again, and delete files if it is too full. They are often called flash disks or memory sticks.

A compact disc, or CD, is a type of storage made popular as a medium for music, and followed on from the audio tape as the most popular way to distribute music. They can hold around 700 megabytes of information and can be used for any type of file, not just music. To write to a CD, you need a CD burner drive, which is a typical accessory with new computers. To rewrite or delete from CDs, you need to use rewritable CDs, or CD-RWs, as oppoed to recordabel CDs, or CD-Rs.

All last three are all forms of solid state memory, while hard disks have moving parts.

Well! all of them are the computers storage devices. From the above, the hard disk is an internal device, whereas others are external devices. All of them are meant for storing data.Floppy disks nowadays are out-dated, the ones used on a wide range are pen drive or (flash disk) and compact disk.
Hard disks are of two types internal and external. They are portable but requires more precision in handling coz they are very very sensitive.Floopy disk, pendrive, compact disk are not sensitive, but should be kept at proper places like away from direct sunlight, moisture and fungus.

hard disk is a storage memory with large space. it is mainly of 20gb,40gb,80gb,120gb...
now a new with 160 gb is in market.
floppy disk is a portable disk with a very small memory(about 1.4 mb) it also need a floppy drive to work.
a pen drive is another portable drive with space greater than floppy. it can be of 500mb, 700mb,1 gb, 2 gb ,..30 gb.....
it does not need any drive for working. it is connected in usb port behind or in front of the cpu. it is a small device, easy to carry.
compact disc is our CD with 700mb space. it can be written only once. a rewritwble cd can be written many times.

None. They are the same thing. A hard drive has disc platters inside, which record the data on them. Some people call it a hard drive, others a hard disk drive. The official abbreviation for a hard drive is "HDD" - Hard Disk Drive. I work in IT, and we all just call them hard drives. No need to be overly precise on terminology with a simple piece of computer hardware. :)
