Do you work for an "at will employer" meaning, did you sign something when hired saying they can fire you for any reason at any time? Most employers cover themselves with such documents. Have you been working there for over a year? If so, you may be able to collect unemployment, if they do fire you. It's only fair to the employer to have the right to let you go if they feel you are neglecting work. And you have the right to miss work if you have the sick time to use. You must have a hunch that something is not right with you calling off work four days in a row. Being pregnant is rough sometimes, so good luck! :)

The answer to this question may lie in company policy.
If your company has a policy about how many days you can miss without being on extended leave, or if they have a very specific policy on HOW and WHEN to call out of work, then your job may be in jeopardy. If you don't follow those policies, they'll get you on that technicality. But if you follow them to a T, and still lose your job, you've got a good case against them.
If you're sick enough that the doctor suggested you stay home, get him (or her) to write up something, and take it in to your boss. He or she will be much more accepting of your illness, if a doctor's note accompanies it. It's much easier to "forgive" someone, when you know the reason behind it.

It depends on where you are living I think. If you are in the UK no they cannot fire you, go to your GP's and get a sick line to cover you for the days sickness. if you have a perm contract you are fine there is nothing at all they can do, if you have a temp contract they can be fly and just not renew the contract at the end of period. Go and speak to your local citizens advice bereau and tell them exactly what your situation is. They will be able to advise you on the correct steps to take etc,
Congratulations and Good Luck, try not to worry about the job too much there are more important things at this minute to think about, Nunber 1 being your health and the babies well being so dont stress yourself out

It depends on a lot of things. If your employer's business is large enough to be covered under FMLA, you can take up to 12 weeks unpaid leave for medical reasons.
If FMLA does not apply to your employer, then you need to look at company policy.

Have you called in sick every day and spoken to your supervisor? Do you have a doctor's note for your illness? What does your employee's handbook say about sick time?
Do you have an employment contract? Or are you employed "at will?" If you are employed at will, they can fire you whenever they want to. If you have a contract, what does it say about sick time?

Contractions are what reason you to dilate and efface and a large type of first time mothers do no longer additionally be conscious them simply by fact they do no longer seem to be continuously painful. Your physique is preparing and it shows via your cervix changing. you may attempt to do each and every of the above however the nice and cozy button is in the experience that your physique isn't waiting you will no longer bypass into hard artwork no count what you do (besides being medically led to). you may try nipple stimulation in case you haven't any longer yet. you may bypass at every time and no person knows for specific whilst. some women human beings stay dilated for weeks or maybe might desire to be led to and others haven't any cervial differences and do basically into hard artwork and do it without warning. all human beings is diverse and the child will pop out so attempt to attend and notice and relax on a similar time as you may. i understand its annoying to be that a great way alongside yet ultimately it is going to ensue.

depends on if you have been to the doctor and if the doctor can prove how sick you have been, you might want to look into FMLA most work places have it and it is for medical issues such as pregnancy, it will protect your job no matter what, i have it and it is great.

no they can not fire you, if they try to fire you, then get a good attorney and you sue the company and get more than what they would have been paying you.
