There are things that can't be explained away. Perhaps in the future we will discover that posession involves entities from other dimensions but saying that, isn't that what demons and angles are, we just give them archaic names.

If an entity is using its influence to persuade the human host that they are worthless or that they should do something we consider as evil or wrong then wouldn't we say that that is demon possession?

I am an evangelical and attended Pentecostal churches (I'm now a recluse) for a decade. I love the style of worship and being slain in the Spirit and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit - and sometimes lesser entities are very familiar to me.

I wouldn't say that the people who are involved in this kind of worship or deliverance are lying or attention seeking because I have been filled with the Spirit myself. I have spoken in tongues many times and it is a very private thing. You're not in a trance and are in control of yourself. Although, saying that, it is a very emotional experience but a lot of people think that it whips you up into a frenzy which is not true. There are preachers who can raise the level of emotion at big rallies but then you can be at a football match or a rave and get a lot more carried away.

It is now possible for anyone to be made aware of this phenomenon. However, it is more likely to be the effect of a lost soul that is encountered rather than a demon. To acquire subtle awareness one must get self realisation and then become used to the new dimension in order to distinguish UPI (units of psychic interference) on ones own central nervous system. This does not mean you allow them to enter your being, but that you are aware of their presence.

Demons tend to take a human form for themselves and use their dark knowledge of the spirit realm inherent or acquired to cause destruction and havoc. For example Hitler gained knowledge from Tibetan monks for use at the Nuremberg rallies to possess and use the youth of the German nation for his demonic purposes.

Churches may have tried to hold on to the knowledge given by Jesus or from the Gnostics (One who knows) regarding the ability to persuade a spirit to depart from their victim but it is most unlikely they will have that power and ability. What they fail to understand is that it is not an intellectual knowledge or capability but a state of being (Gnosis or Yoga or Islam). All churches today are hollow shams but that does not make God, possessions or demons unreal.

g boy needs a lot of deep help as his public outcry is the symptom of a burning need for attention. Did your mother not give you enough attention growing up? was your father always absent from you home? did your older siblings and relatives use you badly? were you dropped when you were a baby? was your family a typical loving family? or are you the product of a misspent youth..? this is what a good doctor will find out..Good Luck

I do not believe in people being possessed. I do believe in God but I do not believe in ghosts (holy or otherwise). I cannot imagine what heaven or hell would be like and I find that I don't need them as either reward or punishment. Nor am I convinced of angels or devils.

of course there are demons and possessions!
do u think the only reasons we have churches right over the entire world is to gain publicity for themselves?
there are churches so that the people who still believes in religion, can go somewhere and talk to their maker and to ask for forgiveness for their sins.
do u believe in anything?

I believe there is evil possesions, because alot of horrors are based on a true story, such as the excorsism of Emily Rose, and the Amittyville horror, things can happen.
