What I mean is that you go to a country like Holland. Legalised prostitution and Cannabis. The country is not crime ridden, they have a low teen pregnancy and is very civilised. Canada is next to the USA and they also have guns, yet they don't have a high murder rate like their cousins next door. Why is it that some nations people seem to act more civilised then others. Is it music, tv, parenting skills?

Yeah good question. Some countries teach their children how to behave better than others. You see Palestinians dressing their babies up as suicide bomber, guess how they turn out...Yanks glorify guns and their use...Arabs glorify Islam and cutting peoples heads off...Brits glorify going to the pub and we are all lager louts...The crazy crazy Dutch glorify riding bikes on their incredibly flat countryside....and they are peaceful

i think it comes from when the country's were formed take America was a land lived on by native American Indians civilised people we came along and killed these people and took which wasn't ours to this day these people are poor and back in the 1800s they tried gun laws but it didn't work as they allowed guns there to be carried, the people be lived that you should live by the gun. Australia were the cons lived and built the land there was con troll. i feel you allow prostitution like in Amsterdam then men or women will go there for sex rather then risk underage sex and teen pregnancy.

Education. This is the answer to all our problems. Too many people believe that education is "learning how to make money fast and without too much effort", The American dream... Has anyone ever heard of the Swedish dream, for example?
