I bought a new house last year and was told to spend money on a bed, tiles, floors and cooker and all the rest can be replaced. But I wish someone had told me about the ironing, it takes twice the time.
Anybody else wished they'd spent money on something good rather than a cheap version....

Over the years I have often tried economy brand foods and found them sub-standard. Sometimes they are as good as the standard brands or even the premium brands but sometimes they are just poor quality.
Also I used to buy a lot of classical literature such as The Odyssey and Herodotus in very cheap editions. The problem with these is that they are cheap because the translation is out of copy right and usually from about 1850-1900 because of this they make very boring reading compared to a more modern translation of the same text.
Also this one time I got a pack of 12 condoms for £2... not the best sex I ever had.

I bought an Iron in Asda two years ago for £4.75, its brilliant, it has all the functions and at price was a steal. A good quality ironing board cover is essential. Ironing boards are all the same, its the cover that gets results.
