First.........relax! If you really do your research on conception, you will learn that truly, all the stars need to be aligned. It's timing. Your stress level will inhibit this believe it or not. Try not to "try" so hard. Try "not" to think about it so much. Give yourself some time as well, the added pressure on yourself is a big factor here.

Hey, I did follow the ovulation day. And yes I did have sex that same day. I believe that the same will happen to me. I wish not but due to your experience I can relate. I will keep trying but now it will be more of having fun than worrying about getting pregnant cause then your chances are reduce. I hope you can email me thru here or thru yahoo. You can access both when you click on my nick. I wanted also to know your experience with your first child it will be a healing process for both.

I agree with superloop. I was trying to fall pregnant for about 3 years and was being sent to a specialist. The month the appointment letter came through, I fell pregnant myself. When you stop worrying about falling pregnant is when your body relaxes enough to actually conceive.

I know it is easier said than done though cos it took me 3 years to relax about it. Just have sex as often as you can and enjoy it rather than only having sex to fall pregnant as that can make it monotonous and the pressure you both feel to fall pregnant could be stopping your body from working properly.

On average it can take up to a year for a healthy woman to fall pregnant anyway so don't worry about it.

All the best and hope you will be pregnant soon.

Stress!!!!!!If you stop thinking about it and trying to so hard it will happen. It's most likely to happen when you arnt trying and stressing over it. also keep in mind that just because you got pregnant right away last time doesnt mean this time will be the same, It's going to be different every time. Just be patient and RELAX you will be pregnant befor you know it.

Give it time and don't stress your self out over it. It will happen. And if you just came off of birth control pills it can take some time for your system to get back on track. It took me 5 months to get pregnant after going off the pill. Good luck, and relax.

It just works that way sometimes unfortunately. My brother and sister in law conceived on their first try with their first child, and it took them ten months to conceive their second. She had so much tropuble understanding what the heck took so long the second time.......but it was just the way it went. It's easier said than done, but don't stress too much about it!!!!

Good luck, I hope things work out for you next month.

RELAX!! My first son took me 7 months to concieve and I got pregnant with my second one years later on the first day we had sex! You are both a little older now, so it may take a little longer. I have learned the more you "try" and the more it is on your mind your are most likely putting yourself under stress you don't know about. Making it harder to concieve. The second time I didn't even think about it I just decided to relax and enjoy myself and boom.. it happened on our first time..It will happen, just stop worrying about it and enjoy it.

Not to worry..it all depends on both of you. There are lots of factors involved in it. During your first baby, you both were alone in the house during the sex time, but now you may be thinking of your small one as well. Try to create romantic surrounding and do it normally and keep your mind free of thinking of getting pregnant.
