Neither sex has "stronger" genes. Its more linked to the actual trait itself than the sex of the parent that carries it.
Some traits are recessive, some are dominant.
But genes are peculair things, and are subject to pretty random selection. There is no way of knowing what your baby will look like until it is born and starts to grow. Eye and hair colour at birth are not necessarily an indicator of the colouring the child will eventually have as these very often change.
Just wait until the baby is born - don't worry your pregnancy away over what your baby is going to look like. He/she will look like he/she looks!

The male gene determines the sex, but as to whether the baby will have blonde hair and blue eyes I couldn't say. Usually that is 50/50. I know that If you have brown eyes and your significant other has blue eyes that brown is the dominant gene of blue, and blue is recessive so more likely to have brown eyes than blue, but of course it is not always the case. Most of whether the child will have your nose or his is 50/50.

My husband has black hair and brown eyes and I have light brown hair and blue eyes. Our daughter has light brown hair and blue eyes same as me. It's just randomly chosen from genes. It is difficult to wait til the baby is born to find out what it looks like and what sex it is but trust me, when your baby is born and put into your arms, it could have 3 heads and a tail and you would still fall in love with it. It is such a nice surprise as well and it's that extra bit of incentive to keep pushing when you feel like giving up.
Congratulations on being pregnant. Take it easy for the next few months. You never get to rest again.

If you have blondes also in your family it is possible u will pass on a blonde hair gene and ur partner definately will, it will have blonde but if it gets a black hair gene from you the hair will be black. Blonde hair is a result of 2 blonde recessive genes, so it depends on your biology if you carry one to pass on to ur child.
I studied biology and was very interested in this topic. It also has nothing to do with male or female. The genes are dominant or recessive.

Just wait and see, as a parent myself to a 5 y/old and a 3 y/old I think as first time parents we "wish away" too much of our first childs life . I can most definately understand your want to know what the baby will look like, but can I suggest that you think of the excitement of seeing your baby for the first time and enjoy every moment as it comes. Dont wish for them to start rolling, crawling, walking, talking etc it will all happen in good time and before you know it they are all grown up . Good luck with your coming baby and enjoy every moment ! P.S. my daughter looks more like her dad and my son looks more like me, you might get a blonde haired brown eyed baby or vise versa , black hair blue eyes ?
