What the UN should be bothered about is how to scrap nuclear weapons across board FOR ALL COUNTRIES, and not just for those countries perceived to be enemies of the West. Has the UN done anything about Israel having nuclear weapons and being armed to the teeth against stone-throwing Palestinians?

THE UN WONT DO ANYTHING MORE THAN WRITE RESOLUTIONS, JUST AS BEFORE WITH IRAQ. IRAN WILL NOT ABIDE BY THE RESOLUTION AND THEUN WILL THEN GIVE ANOTHER RESOLUTION AND ON AND ON AND ON.
SO IN THE END WE(USA) WILL BE THE ONE NATION TO TAKE THE LEAD ON THIS WITH SOME ALLIES.
THE UN IS FULL OF PEOPLE THAT ARE ENEMIES OF THE USA. HOW IS IT THAT WE ARE THE MAIN NATION IN THE WORLD THAT PROVIDES FOOD AND MEDICINE FOR MILLIONS OF PEOPLE,THEN PEOPLE LIKE IRAN,CHINA,SYRIA ETC. CAN VOTE THE USA OFF OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION!
THINK ABOUT IT, THE UN IS THE MOST CROOKED ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD!
I AM AN ARMY SOLDIER AND I SWEAR I WILL NEVER WEAR THE BLUE HAT OF THE UN! I WILL GO TO PRISON FIRST.

The UN has been diligently working on organizing talks and trying to work out the kinks with sanctions.
The problem is China and Russia that are 2 of the 5 permanent UN members with veto power. Both are opposing strict sanctions. The reason involves oil trade arrangements they have with Iran and their vastly growing need for oil to expand their economies.

The UN is doing what it always does when a dictator or terrorist country does something wrong............NOTHING! The UN does all it can to prop up anyone who is anti-USA or anti-Israel.The UN is a total waste of time and money. But,the dems think the UN is the answer to all of our problems,which says a lot about the dems judgment.
