I don't believe either of them really needed the IC title as a way of development. Hardy having the title would make more sense, though. Umaga is in the most publicized match at Wrestlemania, so him having the title just takes an IC title match off the card, unless he loses it before 'Mania. The only way that would be creatively logical, something WWE creative isn't, is to have Trump's rep. cost him the title. Right now, the IC champ should be Johnny Nitro. WWE needs to focus more on that division and break up some of these Raw tag teams that are just jobbers, put them in that division, or send them to Smackdown where the real tag titles are.

yes i do hate the samoan buldozer, he is a monster, a monster who even defeated kane. But he is the samoan fighting machine full of destruction. but if we see in his way, he is a good wrestler. ok what would u do if u r in his place. wont u want to be the intercontinential champ or u will hail jeff hardy? i thimk u will go in for the match and try ur level best for becoming the champ. so i think he is a good wrestler and ALSO ALWAYS THE BETTER AND INTELLIGENT SHOULD WIN.

I'm so glad Vince put the title on Umaga! He has proven his worth in the ring and he's OVER as a monster heel! Finally, some credibility is being restored to the IC title.

Why hate him? He is a tough guy and makes wrestling interesting.
Go beyond liking the "good guys" and hating the "bad guys" and think about who is most interesting to watch.
Why would Hardy deserve to be champ anyway? I've seen him lose tons of matches lately without his opponent cheating.
Wrestlers like Kurt Angle, Edge, Christian, HHH, Rick Flair in his younger years, Kennedy make wrestling interesting regardless of whether they are a fan favorite or not. Most all wrestlers go through cycles of being liked or not liked. John Cena was a "bad guy" when he first came on the scene and the "good guy" (at that time) Kurt Angle had to kick his butt to teach him a lesson.

It was time for a change. Jeff had that title 2 times. He had it from october to december i think. Then he won it back a week later. He had the title long and it kind of was time for a change
