This depends on what era of ancient Egypt you are asking about. Rah - the sun god - is one of the most notable deities they worshiped, but there were others. Over the centuries, they alternated between polytheistic and monotheistic beliefs. Couldn't tell you when Egypt became a Muslim country.

They worshipped a God named Maliss Turcon. He was a vengeful God. Whenever a young lad did something good, i.e. walk an old lady across the street, Maliss would smite that little punk to the firey pits of Hell where another God named Enia Aititer would punish him for all eternity.

They had a lot of gods, mainly the sun (Raa), the Nile river, and some other gods. They believed in reincarnation, and cats were important in their religion.
