Im straight but i keep freaking out that my desire for women is changing, i came off anti depressents and that seemed to make it worse, it seems like i have a low sex drive, i come on here only to be told that our sexual orientation isnt decided till after teens, well im 19 and ive been loving girls for all my life so why now will i just suddenly have feelings for guys? is it just the withdrawel of the anti depressents making me think like this?

p.s i have nothing against gay people and i am comfy with them but i dont want to be one, but my mind keeps looping around telling me to that i am gay

i find i am in almost the same situation as you, to everyone i am straight, but i kept having feelings for gals, and i dont know if it is because im not exactly popular with guys thus i dont really have much guys falling in love with me and end up liking my good gal pals instead.

your sexual orientation is up to you to decide, just because someone says by xx age u should hav it all sorted out means you should. discover it in your own time, that way you'd make the right decision for yourself, as long as you dont string people along if you are that confused..

as for the anti-depressents, i guess only ur psychaitrist could tell you that cos im not an expert on those drugs, so its best to leave it to the experts on the side-effects n such.

good luck, dont feel freaked out, i feel its not the gender you should fall in love with, but the person. this is how i reason myself that feeling for the same gender is acceptable. think of what you want and what you are comfortable in. thats all that matters

I believe that sexuality is confusing because love is confusing. It's hard to tell exactly what love is.

It's like, there's this scale for sexuality, I forget what it's called. But most people aren't completely straight or completely gay, they're in between. Not necessarily bisexual, but apparantly there are gray areas. Weird.

it is sounding like you exspecing bi feelings and theres nothing wrong with that. i know you medication plays with your sex drive but dosn't make you want one sex over the other more. so just go with the flow and be happy with what you have.....
