well i m not an egyptian but i m facinated about it i read a lot of books on egypt but they are very rare so i m finding on net. actually the egyptian pharoahs made the egyptian people slaves and they made the great pyramid temple. it was made up of stones which weight aleast 2-6 tons and they had to roll them on bamboo sticks or wood logs and bring to the site some temples took aleast 1 century. and the architect used to plan the pyramids and thier structure with the help of the moments of the stars and planet it is more in detailbut cant tell u now there were many process and things to be consider. hope i helped u if u want to know more u can visit sites like www.jimloy.com/egypt, or www.ancientegyptonline.com

i am Egyptian but i dont know :)
all i know from reading Egyptian history that ancient Egyptian had strong beliefs and always they loved their gods and belived in their king . they devoted their lives for building these Great stony temples. and the tombs. the Pyramids are tombs not temples
