I think you mean 'Lady in the water' directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It's his weakest film to date and a case of when the director develops something he was too close to (he made up the story as a bedtime tale for his kids) and it doesn't stretch to a feature.
Although, it does have a few good bits and Paul Giamatti is good.

it was lady in the water...and if you ask me she should have stayed there ? it was like watching paint dry..one of the worst films since the village,and i think directed by the same director??trust me you will be better off looking at the insides of your eyelids for a hour and half?

Lady in the Water. I wouldnt bother with it if I were you. It was even worse than The Village.
