ive just woke up with bad stomach cramping on the top of my stomach only to top of my stomach is hard when i move i cramp worse and feeling sick whats going on ?? im 37 weeks and 7 days

Sounds like it might be labor. Call the doc.

Labor pain stars in your lower back and later moves to your lower abdomen, if your water hasn't broke or you are not having contractions you should just try to relax the pain its probably the baby moving (him/her not being in a right position) I'm 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i feel your pain all the time specially when i wake up! good luck and best wishes

it may be labour, but i had the same feeling last week, the top on my bump was very tender and sore and very hard, i totally freaked out and went to the hosp for an emergency appointmnt only to be sent home with heartburn and acid indigestion medicine , i was slightly embarrassed but it is better to get it check out than just leave it. that good you contacted your doctor he/she will be able to listen to your symptoms and give you the best advice.

could be the start of labor...but more likely its the baby in a bad position...ie..foot under ur rib cage...i wouldnt panic...if they keep up for to long just give ur doc a call....better to be safe than sorry
