"Eating seafood may boost baby's IQ
Pregnant women who consume two or three servings a week have smarter children, latest research finds
Maria Cheng, The Associated Press
Published: Saturday, February 17, 2007
LONDON - Women who eat seafood while pregnant may be boosting their children's IQ in the process, according to new research published Friday in The Lancet.
...
On the other hand, seafood -- including fish -- is also a major source of omega-3 fatty acids, essential to brain development.
While experts believe further research is necessary to confirm these conclusions, the study's failure to find evidence of increased harm from eating fish is significant."

Much more about 'smart fats' and brain development here:

"While a baby is in the womb, the brain grows more rapidly than in any other stage of infant or child development. And during the first year after birth, the brain continues to grow rapidly, tripling in size by an infant's first birthday. So, it would make sense for a pregnant and lactating mother to supplement her diet with brain-building nutrients, primarily the omega 3 fatty acids found in fish and flax oil (one tablespoon of flax oil daily, four ounces of tuna or salmon three times a week). In fact, some nutritionists recommend that pregnant and lactating women take 200 milligrams of DHA supplements a day."
I take a DHA supplement. This stuff doesn't strike me as wildly well-researched, but -- file under "it can't hurt."

I don't believe there is any food or herb that can do that. But I believe that if the mother does yoga and meditates from time to time during her pregnancy her baby will be at peace and may develop a "better" or "more intellegent" brain.

The answer is in your question itself. If you go for good food/overeating, your baby will be bigger in size and you may have to go for Cesarean for delivery. Normal food and exercise will bring you a normal child. If you bring up the child in good environment, you can have a intelligent boy/girl.
But if you do not take normal food regularly, your child will get affected. Take care and have a happy living. Best wishes

you can't really improve the maximum potential intelligence of the baby by diet. You can only harm it with a poor diet.
Eat a good ballanced diet, not overeating (you don't want to gain 50 lbs) and not undereating (you should gain more than 15 lbs)
Make sure there's food with adequate protien and calcium.
Should be fine.

And the best process is give the best enviroment to ur child after the birth , u can increasee the intellectuality by urself not before birth.

If you ask the same to Doctors they will answer it now, but if you looks at old Hindu Vedas, the Answer is yes.
Certain things at time of pregency make the difference. I would suggest you to go through some Website or Books for it.
