I'm 24 and currently have 40DDDs. My breast sags and my aerolas are huge. Also, my right breast is much bigger than my left (the left is more like a D and the right is a DDD). To make matters worse, I lost plenty of weight (if I was smaller I can wear a 36 or 38 now) and now I have excess skin around my breast too, making them feel extra soft. I do have insurance but not sure if they will cover. Also, I want to be able to breast feed my future children (my nipples aren't too sensitive to begin with so losing the sensation wouldn't be a big deal) but I won't get the chance after the surgery, then I can live with it too (my mother never breast fed me or my siblings).

My family and boyfriend are very supportive but I don't know if I should do it now or after I have my kids in the future. Help.

PS: I want to be able to go down to a C (at least when I do get pregnant, I can be a D, which I don't mind if they were more even and lifted).

Also, I currently wear a size 10-12 (sometimes a 14) but that's because my breasts are very big. If I get this down, I can be down to a 6-8.

It is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

You could do it now or wait until you have kids.

Check out these sites, they helped me a lot

My PS says I will be able to breast feed. It really all depends on if they remove the nipple during surgery or not.

Insurance covered mine 100%, but since all insurance companies are different, they cover anywhere from 50-100% of the cost. All I needed to pay was hospital copay and $10 for Vicodin.

I was in NO pain at all, didn't need the Vicodin at all.

My scars are 95% healed, you can barely tell they are there. It took two weeks off of work, after that I just took it slow and easy. After my incisions closed I started putting ScarGuard and Mederma on my incisions and like I said they are 95% gone.

your doctor can probably get your insurance to cover this....however, it is a procedure that requires much recovery time and is not fun.....you will have scars and you may not ever be able to breast feed......the doctor can make your breasts smaller, do a mastoplexy which is a lift that gets rid of all that extra tissue and skin and also makes your nipples much smaller like they used to be before you gained all that weight and your skin stretched....Have it done...you don't need to breast feed...you will look and feel like a new person...good luck

My daughter inlaw had it done and it is not a funny subject. She was teased in school and her back started aching, we paid for the reduction and she is happier.

Talk to your doctor about this. It could be covered if this is a health risk...
