Yes America has WMD that could destroy the world, most likely more then ten times over. However, it is a stable government that does not let one person decide to use those weapons. What American is afraid of is a person getting control of WMD that will eliminate a large group of people and not having an answer other then to destroy the rest of the world. Such as say a small government get a hold of WMD's and wipes England off the map with a sudden attack. How does America respond without destroying the rest of the world?

Ronald Reagan has said in speeches "America will never be an aggressor nation, we will never attack another country first". We now know this is not true. Bush invaded Iraq with no real evidence or reason to, and no requisite attack on the US first.

It has always been US policy to answer Chemical or Biological attacks with a nuclear response. In some ways, this makes sense. If the US is willing to use nukes, which we already have, then why bother developing chem or bio weapons?

At this poiint, with Bush's Baked America,.all bets are off.

Anything could happen now. I seriously doubt Bush will ever Nuke the MidEast; that would contaminate the oil, Bush's Big Oil Masters wouldnt like that. But on the other hand, you never know WHAT an Army Deserting Drunk Driver would do.

We aren't likely to use them unless we are provoked by nuclear attack.

There are others out there who aren't so disciplined.
