You applied at a certain company and you received a call for an interview. You prepared for it well. You went there that day ready for the interview when all of the sudden you saw you long lost "best" enemy who's gonna bee your interviewer. All bad memories of that person popped up. He/she killed someone closest to you the most. However, you need that job badly. Would you continue for the interview or not? Why?

I would decline the interviewer, and ask the company due to personal reason I would prefer to be interviewed by somebody not biased toward me. They may accomodate most companies do not desire conflict, and if they really need to hire things may fall in your favor. If not well sometimes you win some, and loose some you just learn to pick your batlles move on.

I don't think someone who killed someone else would be in a responsible position, but just for the sake of argument: At least with an enemy you already know you're going to get shafted, and it won't be a surprise. When someone you trust shafts you, that's a lot harder to take. Go for the interview. Chances are the "enemy" won't be your immediate supervisor. Besides, if that person is really an enemy, you won't get the job anyway.

I'd continue it, and kiss up to the interviewer
