There is absolutely NO WAY , under any scenario you might envision, that there would be a Presidential election in 2010

The presidential election will be in November, 2008 with inauguration on Jan. 20, 2009. So no way in 2010.

in the united states, this is impossible. but you did not specify any country.
in my country, which is your too (based on your question), the philippines, there should be an presidential election on 2010. but as of now, with the national elections and all, very problematic and chaotic, the impeachment may pursue.
