Anything acidic. White vinegar's the best, though lemon juice smells nicer (IMHO).

Try spraying white vinegar(place solution of vinegar and water in a spray bottle) on the windows and wipe dry with newspaper-- need to use newspaper for good results. It works for grimy windows, it may work for calcium deposits. I've used a vinegar and water solution to clean and sanitize coffee makers and carafe. It works great !!. You can use a vinegar based window cleaner and newspaper for your windows. Please note don't use a vinegar-based window cleaner for your coffee pot -- not the same as plain white vinegar and water. It has added chemicals that are poisonous upon consumption. Good luck

Try a product called CLR (calcium limestone remover). But be sure to try it on an area that isn't easily seen first. It is an acid so it may cause etching on the windows.
