wow all the males say no and all the females say yes. i wonder who's right.

Yes you can still have a period while pregnant its unlikely but can still happen, but remember that during a period an egg is released so u can even get pregnant from that sperm/egg encounter as well (it happen to my friend). She lost both foetuses from that or it could be a problem with the foetus so go check with a doctor to be on the safe side.

Sometimes, there would bleeding if you are pregnant. But you do not actually call it menstruation. Bleeding early in pregnancy would be due to implantation bleeding or because hormones are not enough (progesterone) -- before 9 weeks of pregnancy, the placenta of the baby (source of hormones) is not yet developed. Bleeding in the middle of pregnancy may be due to abnormality in the placenta. Bleeding late in pregnancy may be due to cervical incompetence (cervix dilates before the baby is term) or again, abnormality in the placenta.

A co-worker had a regular period all through her pregnancy.

But it could also be the baby having problems. Check with your doctor. The gyn would be able to tell you if there's a problem or not.

Of course not. The period is the result that a woman did not get pregnant.

If a pregnant woman bleeds, she must seek medical attention, as this could be a serious problem.

No. If you are pregnant your period stops until after you give birth so the last period you will have is the one immediatly prior to you getting pregnant.
