This is a real problem try to run a clean fabric softener sheet inside the shirt or I know this sounds funny but put a little safety pin inside the shirt maybe on the bottom and the pin will help remove the static electricity.

There are sprays in the laundry section of stores that remove static--you just spray and go --easy. However if you can't find what you need then take your shirt put it in the dryer on air-fluff only with a dryer sheet. You do not need to wet it. Bounce sheets guarantee static free performance; but any quality sheet will work. Good luck and be static free.
