Illgiveuwhatuneed asked about things done in Gods name and small asked about our willingness to critisize people instead of praising them. I believe that the answer to both questions are different effects of the same human flaw. Maybe, only I see it, but it is worth thinking about.

Some people are just "negative" can't see the sun for the trees....so no matter what you have to say or do they won't give you a real honest answer they just put you down or whatever the situation is ..it's negative and without hope.

Others who are positive see the good in a person and point out ways to improve situations instead of seeing all that is bad....I hope most people are made up of some of both not just the extremes.

The connection I see Dred, is the unwillingness of many people to take responsibility for their own actions.

Many atrocities have been carried "in Gods name" in our history.

Many people find it easier to criticise than to stand up and be counted themselves.
