A weak association, not prepared to go against the Pakistani followers.
Pakistan are and have been the biggest cheats in world cricket.
Some of these would include, stamping on wickets. Always appealing for catches that they know are not out. Putting undue pressure on umpires. Slowing down play big time to achieve a result, (remember, against England, bowling 8 overs in an hour in order to get play stopped by unfair means. Biased umpires from years gone by. Shaka Ranoo, (sorry about spelling), affair with Mike Gatting. Undermining umpires authority, like at Lords. Tampering with the ball.
It's the worst tour that international sides have to play. Why don't we just kick them out of International games and be done with it?

Because the ICC is weak and pusillanimous and doesn't want to get involved in disciplining a member board for fear of setting an unwelcome precedent (look at how craven they are with Zimbabwe), and the fear is exacerbated when it's part of the Asian bloc. Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have a near-stranglehold on the ICC decision-making since it only needs them to get half the others to agree on something (and the poorer boards like WI and Zim will usually not want to antagonise the financial powerhouse of India), so the ICC's hands are more or less shackled.
The whole drugs scandal has been a farce from beginning to end, which is why WADA is getting shirty. Cricket seems to be the only major sport where 'I didn't know' seems to be a valid excuse. WADA was also annoyed that Warne only got a year for his banned diuretic, when the standard is two years.
I think alleging cheating is a bit strong, nothing has been proved as to intent, merely that they were both definitely taking banned substances. The ICC needs to say once and for all what its stance is on drugs and having done that implement it, regardless of the player's fame or skin colour.

I agree with you they shouldn't play because of the drugs thing, the PCB have had a lot of trouble in the past with the ICC with things regarding cheating and I think they've had enough and the ICC have as well. If the ICC did something about this situation then the Pakistanis will feel victimised so they decide to leave it. Also these are the people who invented reverse swing, this was considered cheating when they used it against England in test matches but it was used by Simon Jones against Australia and it played a big part in winning the Ashes. I think ball tampering in the future will not be considered as a crime in the bear future

Shoaib Akltar and Nohd.Asif has been cleared from the drug charges by the Pakistan Appelite Body, which is being challenged by WADA. I strongly feel that till such time final decision on the challenge made by WADA is taken, both the players should not have been included in the Pakistan Team. By including such tainted players Pakistan have put themselves in bad eyes in the world.

I am astounded at the openly racist comments and views of some of you illiterate imbeciles out there! Such bias is clearly unfounded and just goes to show the level of ignorance STILL prevalent in today's England.
I think some of you racist idiots should be locked up with your pals Jade and that other foolish girl, Danielle or whatever she was called.

Because they are Asian, no Asian cricket will be banned because they will take the authorites to court on racial discrimination grounds. So cheats and drug addicts as long as they are Asians can get away with anything in any sport.
