What is your opinion of Amitabh Bachan acting in Nishabdh with a mere 18 year old in that fashion?

I mean Jiyah Khan is only 18 compared to Mr Bachan's 60 or so odd years. And the type of clothes she wears is typical of young people today but what of a 60 year old (someone who is old enough to be a grandfather) acting in that fashion with her. I mean i understand that it is a remake of Lolita but you must understand that Lolita was a hollywood movie. Surely we as Indians have certain limits. And don't you think that it is hypocritical of the big B to do this movie especially since he got his bahu to be, Aishwarya's, kissing scene cut out from Dhoom 2? Oh and just so you don't think i'm a boring old nani i'll let you know that i'm a young 22 year old asking a genuine question and thus want genuine answers.

I think its plain ridiculous...yes it looks like a remake of Lolita. But it may not be as bad as AB's role in BOOM. Good God did u watch that movie. I guess AB is at that stage in his life where he can afford to take risks and because of his stature in Bollywood he is really not answerable to anyone. So what if he prances about naked with an 18 year old. I would say - Just take the movie as it is and forget about it. By the way AB went on record to say that the whole bit in the movie is 'asexual' but it didnt look like that from the promos.

U r realy an impressing guy/gal ,and i really think that it shouldn't happen in the bollywood b'coz nowadays bollywood is one of the most or u can say the only source to teach a new lesson to us that means youngsters.But U should also realize that some movies are also made on the original story or u can say on the daily life of us.And they r simply showing us the reality but as agreeing to U this has also some side effects that such type of things(mentioned above or may be different types) causes an erruption in their happening.In past where there were no or say records of rape or robbery ,murder has increased now and after UNDERTRIAL evere daughter will be scared from his father So I really don't like this type of movies and Bollywood should realize the fact.

Nishabdh should be viewed as an entertainer movie since our BIG B is starring in it. Movies always do not reflect the true picture of the society or deliver morales. However, in our contemporary Indian culture, such a relationship (physical) between an older man and a younger girl (who are unrelated to each other) is ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL. But if an older man loves any younger girl like a fatherly figure, it is appreciable.

An Actor that too of the calibre of BIG B has to live up to the image of being a versatile actor and BIG B has time and again proved that he has it in him to deliver the goods. What he has done in this movie is what most of the well respected actors of this era have done...Indian Society is going through a seachange and the same is being portrayed on the SILVER SCREEN ...its not that people r being shown something new..what was shown in this movie is something thats going on for some time now..Cinema is just a way to bring to the notice of people the various facets of our society and its not by any means the end in itself. So bottomline is it all depends on how you take it...Cinema should not be taken in its serious sense....if that is the case then how can you explain an INDIAN HERO bashing up dozens of Baddies single handedly??? Moral of the story....Let Cinema be Cinema...therez no big deal about it...dont look much in to it...Krish!!

i m amitabh fan and before wtching this movie i wuld not like to comment on this thing maybe there is some kind of theme rgv wants to show and if is just a plain love story then amitabh should not do this kind of movie as there are many fans of amitabh all around the world and this film it its just alove story then it will definately affect our society.as people want to be like their role model and amitabh has lot of fan following around the world so this may have adverse result.

but still wait for the movie to release and lets seee the contents in the film before coming to any conclusion

I feel disgusted. Its such a stupid theme. I think its gonna b a very boring movie n no one is actually excited with its promos. I think amitabh bachchan is doing too many movies nowadays! He should only sign good movies and do 2-3 movies per year.

let me tell u it is not amitabh it is a 60 yr old man story which amitabh is playing because he belong to that age
and actor r doing what they r told to do
they r just acting or playing a part that too in short short scene it is me and u which take reel life chrachter more seriously
i am looking forward to this movie i want to see what a 60 yr old man pshyche is when he love a 18 yr old girl how he present this complex chracter
dont thinktoo much just sit and enjoy this great actor in his some last yr of acting

well, amitabh is a great actor and as it is ppl have a lot of respect for him. he probably thinks that his audience will tolerate him in any type of role as long as it is being played by him. the fact that he had ash's kissing scene cut out frm dhoom 2 is wayyy too hypocritical, what's he thinking? either he's not thinking anything or he doubts the fact that his audience are smart enough to point out whats wrong.

Baby, Amitabh is only the film actor and he is doing acting only for money and doesn't matter to him any types of roll even now he can do a romantic pair with Ashwarya because he knows after few year he will be not able to get money from acting and about Ashwarya it is fact Hrithik did her real kiss and one more film Ashwarya did real kiss in one English film Indian spice amitabh need only money,dost matter to him is ashwarya virgin or not he need Ashwarya's money and stardom. don't think its fashion

Yes ur correct we have some limits i must agree with u .That it is hypocritical of the big B to do this movie. our indians have some traditions. where is our india and where is america there is so much of difference. I really dont accept this movie.what do u? accept this .
