If you are referring to history then, No, CFC were never the better since the number of trophies in theri cupboard is really good(damn!)
But in recent times, it can be seen that CFC is having an upperhand in the direct confrontations between the two teams....
I as a chelsea fan will really remember the spanking that ManU recieved at the BRIDGE 5-0 !(Can the Red Devils do that??)
You remember a certain......... TAIBI??? between the sticks when they thought he would be a good replacement for Schmikes???
And the last season when they were beaten 3-0 there itself. We are holding an unbeaten record at the Bridge for 3 years now and ManU is yet to do that!!! The Theatre of Dreams is slowly turning in one of nightmares!!!!!

Well.....in the latest years we can see that chelsea improved a lot and became one of the best teams in the world!!! In the other hand, man u has a very good history with a lot of cups and championships taken. Nowadays we see that man u is first in the championship. That doesn't mean anything at all. If man u is better than chelsea or the opposite is still in my opinion an open issue....... That championship may solve your problem!!

As much as I hate to say this, Man U is better than Chelsea. A good example is their backup players. Remove John Terry and their makeshift defence looks ordinary. They have no quality backup and they were leaking goals like nobody business which is a reason why there is a gap between both teams.

I hate Manchester United. The fans know nothing about football. I've met Man Utd fans in Africa. A freind of mine travels from Nottingham every other week to the theatre of silence.
Chelsea are technically better than Man UTD. As much as I hate to say it, some of Man utd's players are slightly better and they gell better as a team unlike Chelsea who sometimes have other issues on and off the pitch.

Not really in terms of goals scored Man Utd are better, in terms of goals conceded Man Utd are better, in terms of points Man Utd are better so overall Man Utd are better, HOWEVER
I would say Chelsea would do better in Europe then Man Utd they can quieten a massive crowd like the Nou Camp in December where they dominated the game, they did the same to Man Utd earlier this year. Now that's what you call a team

No. Last year they had a massive squad and could put out a top quality fresh team every match and change tactics at will. this year they let all but their main players go, brought in a couple of autumn players and picked up a few big injuries thye couldn't cope with. best 11 vs best 11 united are ahead in every position and thanks to some summer sales at chelski their bench is better too.

what a question, but no they are not look at all the achievements Manchester united have had for example: more trophies than Chelsea, bigger ground, biggest attendance in the premiership, we won the champions league etc.

No way, just look at Man u trophys under Alex. Mostly home grown talent and British.
