There is no specific place. You want a small place. A place where you can blend in without trying. Not too small. You don't want to stand out but at the same time you don't want to be a nobody. America is the best place to start. Within America is poverty, wealth, dreams, despair, and wonder. The choice is yours. What will you have?
I have traveled all my life and found that the best place is the place where I feel most comfortable. It is different for everyone.

I just want to be around "Boats" and the water, The "Boats" just "DO IT" for me, I live on Long Island, it was a pretty cool place to grow up, and live, unfortunately the entire 3rd world recently discovered it too, does anyone need their lawn cut ? We have assistance centers here to help the criminals who illegally enter the country and ruin our life style, take it all, it's "YOURS" our family's only broke their A s s for a lifetime to bring us our world.

you stated family shouldn't be a factor but it has to be with me.I would like to live in florida near my children and granddaughters.I was born and raised in central florida close to where the tornados reaked havoc on everyone.I could put up with hurricanes again.If you are with the ones you love nothing else matters to me."Why don't you live there,you ask?"Can't afford it so I will keep my butt parked here in S.Georgia and cherish their many phone calls and visits.Thanks for the early morning therapy.Have a good one!

Germany or Austria. Even Australia...
I've been to Europe and the people I've met were very kind and friendly. I have not been to Australia, but the people there seem just as nice.

Not in tune with my lifestyle, but i'd like to live in a secluded area such as northern scandinavia or Canada, nice and cold and quite.
