Anyone have any comments about the `new novel`- where characters eat and chat and gossip and scr** without connecting and/or getting intimate?????

Most of the trash which passes for literature nowadays has characters who are, to put it kindly, `zipless`.

Anyone find this boring or have we become accustomed to this sort of trash????

I thought Erica Jong's "Fear of Flying" was a wonderfully funny novel. It was she who first used the term "zipless f_ck." It's not a new idea.

Unfortunately, with T.V.,and Movies most people really don't read much. And when they do the Novels are as trashy as the t.v. and movies.
