Not really. They are actually scars, so generally anything that will help with scars will help with stratch marks but nothing will ever completely remove them. Provided you don't keep putting on weight the skin will eventually stabilize and the marks will fade from purple to silvery white, and become barely noticeable if you already have pale skin.

In the meantime you can try keeping the skin well lubricated. Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter keep the skin nice and soft and help promote elasticity.

But it is extremely difficult to avoid stretch marks.

Yes, there are surgical procedures to reduce them, but nothing can get rid of them completely. As far a creams go, you should look into Mederma. It is awesome! It reduces them significantly. It is expensive for an over the counter ointment, but well worth the cost. I got stretch marks with my son and this is what the doctor prescribed. A small tube costs about $20. It is much better than spending 5K on a surgical procedure that will give you very similar results! Good luck!

next time you go to the store you should be able to find a lotion just made for stretch marks and if you can't find that one then the next best thing is coco butter lotion.
