I think the best combination of Bruce Wayne and Batman is Christian Bale, but also Michael Keaton is great as Batman but not as good as Bruce. Batman Begins is very different from all of them and I love it. But I also like Batman 1 and 2 from Tim Burton because they are really dark and gothic just like the Dark Knight is supposed to be :)))))))

My favorite Batman will always be Adam West. For anyone growing up with that show, all future Batmans are compared to him. As for the movie Batmans, I liked Keaton in the 1st movie but the film kinda stunk overall. The last movie, Batman Begins, I think holds up as the best of the films, even though that ending blew.

Yeah, Christian Bale is the best Batman and Batman Begins is the best Batman movie...
The other movies were a bit campy....
Michael Keaton was too goofy as Batman... Val Kilmer was too serious... I thought George Clooney was a good mix of goofy and seriousness... The movie he was in though totally sucked...

Best BATMAN, as per my opinion shall always be MR.KEATON. And I have very strong reasons for the same, listed below…
As you already know, in the story, his parents are murdered on a night of a very happy day when BRUCE WAYNE was kid and the entire BATMAN thing is based on his struggle going on in his mind and subconscious to overcome that felling of sudden lost. Everything else is secondary!!
Val Kilmer though looked more stylish and everything was not able to project that fire within on the screen that would establish him as Batman. Till today, only MICHAEL KEATON has done it. And forget Christian Bale. He is a kid!! ï
And another reason, more important to me, though it has nothing to do with what you are asking….is that the film had a superb song in the list of its soundtrack. It was called FACE TO FACE by the one and only Siouxsie and the Banshees. And Sioux is still one of the sexy stars I adore.
Regards,
M.

"Mine is Christian Bale with Batman Begins."
ha ha! Your just like all my buddys! I must be missing the point of that movie because I hate it! I think the original Tim Burton Batman is by far the greatest of all the movies and Michael Keaton is by far the greatest batman!!
I think that what Keaton brings to the part (which Bale doesn't IMO) is a sort of child like-inquisitive-humility... He is a man who sees himself on a journey and is willing to learn from every experiance... He is lost in the sea of life as Bruce Wayne yet surfing it's wave as TEH BATMAN!!!1
I also think his 'Bat Voice' is far better than Bales (wtf is that growly raspy voice supposed to be???).
Another thing... (gasp) don't forget that before the original Batman movie... Batman was seen as a comedy buffoon in grey tights (a la Adam West). The whole super-dark, high-tech, kick *** martial arts in combat boots and edged weapons theme was placed on Batman originally by Tim Burton!
Infact the original Batman movie was the first 'serious' super hero movie IMO to gain critical acclaim and many others have come along, thanks to T.Burtons genius!!
I could be completely wrong though!!!! Hope you enjoyed my rant :-)

Yeah, Michael Keaton is still the best, (even tho' Clooney had some Batman qualities), and the movie with Uma, (Poison Ivy), was the best. I saw it at a theater-like cinema with Dolby & surround sound, and when that song came on, it was FANTASTIC! This movie had the best one-liners, (of course, the Governor was in it, so it had to have a LOT of one-liners! LoL!
