Does Tennessee and/or Mississippi have a tourist tax? If so, please provide references and say what they are?

~~ I have done a search of the Tennessee State Government website for "tourist tax", and though it is confusing it appears Nashville may impose a tourist tax.
I'm not sure how and at what satge it is collected though (maybe accomodation).
