My reason being is that the foods are cooked under high tempertature anyway so that will kill most of the bacteria. Plus when you wipe its not like your actual fingers are touching anything bad. Only the toilet paper which is clean ..........

Whats your take on this?

kill most of the bacteria??/ you are disgusting its bad enough just not washing your hands in general but you being a chef aswell?? ewww oh and i guess you really only touch the toilet paper....yeah right wake up buddy ..the door?? do you not flush either ?? you are not just touching the food you could touch something that someone else then touches and passes on the germs. oh and by the way there are actually laws that enfiorce hygiene standards of which it is a sackable offence to not maintain these...and can even cause a restaurant to be shut down. think about just a couple of consequences ...it takes 30 seconds to prevent any of them!!

You are not the only one. I had terrible hygiene when I worked in the food service industry. I think it was because I hated my job and the people I worked for. I did wash my hands after using the bathroom, however. But if I touched my shirt I didn't care. I didn't wash my hands for the full required thirty seconds and I didn't wash them every hour on the hour (we were supposed to but were not given enough time to do simple things like that).

Yet I still go out to eat. I just don't think about what the cooks are actually doing in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Ignorance is bliss. It is hard to die of food poisoning anyway.

bacteria would travel to toilet paper anyway, you should ash yours hands anyway even when you're cooking your hands dont go above 70 degrees so they are still very much alive and in your food and you could get in big trouble

the department of health will be waiting for you when you come to work tomorrow. They aleady know about you.
If anyone gets sick at the restauant you work at,you could go to jail for not following health regulations. There are signs posted everywhere at restaurants that employees must wash their hands.

That's gross!-I ALWAYS wash my hands for my own sake as well as others, along with before & after meals, you need to be taught good hygiene.

Its against food laws but who really looks at them. Where is your food stall I dont want to eat there there is allways the chance that one of your sneaky little parasites is in the food as you serve it .

I;m a restaurant manager, and what you are doing is against Health Dept Rules, but you know that....Have you ever heard of Shigella? Look it up. Really, you should be ashamed of yourself and I admit, if you were my employee, I would fire you.
