I believe in the same way as you.
As an Indian my friend want that I cheer for India but my country-team is weak enough to be beaten by Bermuda.
New Zealand is very powerful in bowling and in batting too.
May they won as many of the Aussies have retired just before the W.C. 2007.

The World Cup has been a perennial problem for the All Blacks. It seems that every four years we're told that THIS team can repeat '87 and every four years they disappoint. Home advantage should help but only if the early results are favourable. I suspect that the passionate New Zealand crowds may well turn on the players if they don't perform in the pool stages.

New Zeland can chase 349 and dfeat the Aussies 3-0 on their home grounds only and not in other countries.I would rather put my money on South Africa.

While they will be a challenge for other teams in the world cup and can win the world cup if they maintain the current performance in the world cup also, things cannot be taken for granted as they will be playing at a different conditions and different type of pitches. If they continue with the same performance in the world cup, they can defenitely win the world cup.

Even I, a proud NZer won't go that far.
Top 4 is a very distinct possibility but South Africa, Sri Lanka and Australia may be too much for us to topple. Also, don't count out the Windies, they were in good form at the ICC cup and they're at home. They're my pick!

i am putting my money on South Africa, i believe they have what it takes this time around. The team is in top form we are proud to have a great selection of all rounders, bats-men and wonderful bowlers. Just look at what Pollack did to Pakistan.
But sad as it might be don't underestimate Australia sure they have broken toes and what have you but they are rated as one of the best teams in the world just underneath South Africa of course.
But which ever way the cookie crumbles its gonna be a fantastic tournament
