The benefit system was put in place to help the vunrable in our society unfortanatley people who have no respect for them selves or their familys have decided its a easy way to get some extra cash to fund their greedy selfish lives and this attitude now seems common place these people seem to put very little in to the pot but are the first to shout out when they think they are wronged they want it all for nothing and then it repeats it self in their children what a sad world its becoming when people are prepared to rob someone genuine like your self out of money just so they can lead a comfortable life style if all the conning bastards out there got off their back sides and actually did something for them selves and their familys you would be getting the support you need

If they are not entitled to it then they shouldn't be getting it and what I want to know is how they do manage it, I had a serious accident a good few years ago that left me unable to work again, I'd had a really high paid job were I paid an awful lot of tax into the system from but I had to fight tooth and nail to get my benefits and ended up involving our local MP in the end up, yet a woman round the corner from me who's never done a days work in her life had no problem getting her benefit for depression, she is always out shopping and laughing, goes dancing and running and god knows what, I do know some people suffer with terrible depression but she is a bad influence on the most needy and I think its very unfair that people like her get away with it.

I agree with you, i know some who can walk to the pub ,no problem at all, has a new disability car, and are really well of compared to some working lads.Another point that riles me, to claim disability living allowance you have to be 65 or younger, i would have thought the older people get the more liable they could become disabled, obviously the government think the younger end need the benefit more, hard to understand

The people that 'abuse' the benefit system are but a very tiny part of the total costs.
Much emphasis is placed on these persons & almost none on the real villians that rob this country, they being the big-shot buisnessmen with their slick lawyers salting away millions in dodgy offshore accounts & tax avoidance schemes.
They keep a low profile & therefore most of us do not notice we are being robbed left, right & centre. They are not an east target.

I call them scroungers! There are people with genuine problems who need help and I don't mind that. It's the people who scrounge off the state and don't want to work that annoy me! It doesn't matter which benefit it is there are always scroungers on it!
Rant over, I hope things are going well for you and your child though!

I hate them. Lazy scrounging bone idle B**tards. I really feel for people like you. When I worked at vauxhall, the amount of lazy scumbags who had their motability cars coz they had a limp 5 years ago was disgusting. our friend lost his leg, but coz was strong willed and could get to the shops on crutches, he couldn't get a bean, wheras some of the scummers i saw at vauxhall with their free/halfprice cars, i just wanted to punch!
We voted this government in and let it get this far.

tmost people who fiddle the benefit system do it for survival. I know of an individual who has a thriving business who over the last 4 years has earned over 400,000 pounds! and not declared even 20% of it! yes they have been reported so don't even go there? stop trying to destroy people in the same boat as you! some get lucky, some don't, but there is a big difference between greed and survival. oh and the person who was reported! no action taken, so wise up and stick together, fight together, live together and all that

Lazy bone idle scum bags, its because of them that genuine cases find it hard to get the support they need.
We make it too easy for lazy tossers to sit around all day wathcing Jeremy Kyle.
If you can work you should, perosnally i have too much self respect to sit around scamming benefits. I just couldn't do it.
