I live in Mumbai.I am currently in std. XII with my subjects as PCM. I intend to do B.E./B.Tech. I wish to know about the entrance exams for engineering like AIEEE 2007/ BITSAT 2007. I will be appearing for MHT CET 2007. I have heard that there are many different CET exams like- private CET and govt. CET. Also, I have heard that one needs to give a separate entance exam for admission into colleges like VJTI & DY Patil. Also, I have heard that there are entrance exams for Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT), MAHE, UGET etc. I am totally confused with all these entrance exmas. Please give me some detailed information about the various exams that one has to give for admission into an A grade engineering college.

You can visit any book store or publisher in your city or search the web for 'books and study material for engg. entrance exams'. Better still contact numerous coaching institutes around you but mind they won't come up on net.

go to the respective websites of each college VIT, MAHE, BITSAT is good. On the website you can find from where u can purchase the application form.
