try to settle the issue as soon as possible and if he behaves abnormally then immediately leave him....coz when he first got mad, the friendship itself has ended at that point.

When a close friends of mine gets mad at me, i sincerely ask for sorry. I do the first move. I don't let the day end without even trying to mend the misunderstanding. I also talk to her and ask her what made her feel so amd and bad. In that way, you can reconcile both the friendship and yourself.

If you don't know the reason why he/she is mad at you, confront him/her. If it is really your fault - apologize.

If he/she tries to avoid talking to you, ask help of common friends to mediate, if still won't work out, give him/her time to calm down. After sometime maybe he or she will be the one to approach and make up with you. If still no, then drop him or her off from your contact list.

A problem caused by a bang on the head can only be cured by a bang on the head. You have to show that you are sorry and whatever u did wrong try to correct it, lovers *** and go... friends stay forever.Get them back you know how.

Find out what is wrong and the reason why they are angry. Then, work out the problem with them instead of letting it hang in the air and get in the way of your friendship.

And learn from it, try to compromise and try not to go overboard again...

There must be some reason behind it if he/she is so close to you why don't you ask the reason...remember
"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

I have to ask first why. If he tells me, I'll explain my side. Then, if I am at fault, I apologize. That's the best way to do it, I guess. It's not healthy if you immediately say sorry without you explaining your side. Remember, in every relationship, there must be understanding both sides. It's not only you understand him, but him understands you, too.

Ask what it was that you did that made them mad. Then you'll know what upset them and you can make sure it doesn't happen again. Apologize!
