Do you ever decide you might not come back to Answers and just let it go?

i find this site quite fun , not all questions are always in my taste ,but ?does it matter ? i just avoid some subjects that do not have any meaning to me , and stay away for controversial questions,especially the ones where people insult one another and have a role that is unacceptable and unethical,besides this ?
no, thus far, i have not thought about leaving, the day that i will ? i will simply go on my way ,for this is not home , a social event ,or a private club ...........
i open when i wish and close as well ........
besides ? it is winter out there .sort of cold and rainy :-)

I stay because it's a good way to kill time and you can learn things from the interesting questions.

I consider not bothering to come here because of all the repeated annoying questions. It bothers me that people constantly post repeated questions where a simple search would give them the answers they need (because someone else has asked the same thing only a few days or weeks before). The bad spelling and grammer bugs me to. Not the little stuff but the really obvious spelling mistakes and 'text' speak.
It also annoys me when people ask a question but then don't really want the answer. A good example was recently when someone asked a question regarding babynames and what people thought and suggestions, myself and others came up with lots of other suggestions and opinions and then when they picked the best answer (which was a really short pointless one) they said 'well i'm not changing them anyway'. What the hell is the point in asking then?
The other things is all the really closed-minded people that are on here, that bugs me to and makes me consider leaving.

All these things just make me worry about the intelligence of people and societies in general. But then i have to remind myself it's only a small minority of people that come on here, it's not a representation of the world!

Sometimes I get frustrated at the trivial violations that I get sent to me.

When you answer the question in an honest and precise way ...someone who don't like it can put you in for abuse. Why?

Then I realize that we are mostly not talking to a real person but a machine and then I feel so silly even venting my rage.

I guess we all have a desire to get things off our chest or vent our spleen. Its a cheap shrink. I know I feel better after I have a session reading and replying to various questions.

But I find it difficult for me to rationalize why they charge you five points and only give you back three points. That part I have a hard time grasping.

Also some of the people are pushing a lot of buttons on purpose just to get a reaction. Maybe this is healthy as it might get this poison out of their system. Thanks for asking this good question

Y!A is mildly addictive. My plan is quit once I hit level three.

It takes up too much time. So many question are just juvenile.
I find my self classifying he questions as I scan them.

As a teacher, I get paid for teaching. I am doing it here for free.

Hell it's 3am ...what am doing answering questions?

i stay because i am interested in the answers i receive to my questions, and i am interested in the questions people ask on sections such as psychology, philosophy, or in reading the poems people post in the art and humanities section or in posting my own.
